Writing style was good and engaging that’s the only reason it’s getting 3 stars. There is pretty much zero character development. Remy and Mick are not a believable couple but I liked them both enough to root for them. They had maybe 1 serious conversation the rest was about sex or about her stalker. We pretty much know zero about their backgrounds... Like I said no character development. The book had no epilogue and it needed it badly. Last but not least let’s talk about the title of the book. “Baby, I’m Howling For You” there are exactly NO people taking the name seriously. I passed this book at least a dozen times because I couldn’t stop rolling my eyes at the title! The book even though I didn’t like it much is way better than the name. I get the whole play on words thing but it takes away from the time and effort you put into your craft. Paying 7.99 for this was not worth it for me personally but I did finish it and would have liked to get to know Remmy and Mick more. So take what you will from my experience and happy reading!Tags : Baby, I'm Howling For You (Alphaville Book 1) - Kindle edition by Christine Warren. Baby I'm Howling For You Alphaville Book 1 edition by Christine Warren Paranormal Romance eBooks Reviews
I like this author's other books more. I somehow found myself struggling to read this story.
I ALWAYS ENJOY ms Warren`s shifter stories. This is no exception. Fast paced, witty and hot. [ will be sure to read all in this new series.
Loved this story. Getting a second chance at love. Wanting something that is not yours and willing to do anything to get it. But getting your just dessert in the end.
The story line and characters kept you reading the story. I couldn't pit it down long enough to finish the story.👍
I totally adored Mick! The grieving widower had a few anger issues that he expressed artistically, but there is no denying he falls hard for Renny. Even when he argued with his wolf-something I found highly entertaining-it was obvious to everybody how he felt about her. I loved his respect for Renny’s intelligence and appreciated that he didn’t reign in her independence. Mick tried to go over Renny’s head a few times in the best interest of her safety, but he learned fairly quick it was in his favor to just communicate with her.
Renny was intelligent and amusing in her attempts to manage her situation in the face of three alpha males. For someone with a crazy stalker and a streak of bad luck, she maintained a positive outlook on her circumstances and never did the whole damsel in distress bit. Instead, and much to Mick’s chagrin, she jumped straight into the fray. Her feelings for Mick took a little hammering for her to realize what she really meant to him (understandable given their initial meeting) but their romance was sweet and combustibly satisfying! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I first stumbled on Christine Warren through her Gargoyle series and fell in charm with her witty and jocular writing style! Happily, Alphaville is in the same vein and I am definitely looking forward to further entries!
Spirited females with the sense to know when to keep out of danger. Hot alpha males hell bent on protecting their mates. Yeah. I'll take it. Could have taken it for cheaper, but yeah....
This was a fun and easy read.
Renny was running from a psycho stalker, A pack of Coyotes on her tail and she needed to get to Alpha. She was hoping that she would be safe as soon as she got there. Cold, hurting and tired she found herself on the front lawn of Mich, Alpha Wolf.
Mich was tired and lonely, missing a mate that died when he heard the scream of a wolf. He went outside and found an unconscious female on his lawn. He knew he couldn't leave her fate to the Coyotes on her tail.
This was a PNR, fated mates. It was a good read if you are looking for a relaxing night. Don't want to get into anything too intense this book is for you. Christine Warren writes like no PNR author I have read. She writes great snarky females, with your brooding possessive Alpha mates. I loved her writing style. Reading her Others series. I recommend this book and her other stuff. She is a great read
